Il Borghetto e la Casina is a charming green oasis located just a short walk from the historic center of Florence. In our garden, you can enjoy a countryside atmosphere, while nearby, public transport, shops, and cozy establishments for dining or having a coffee can be easily found. Our facility is the perfect choice for those needing to spend time at nearby hospitals, such as Careggi, CTO, Meyer, Villa Ulivella, and Glicini. We provide a relaxing environment designed to ease the stress of medical visits. Tourists and business travelers can also take advantage of our strategic location, as parking is available in the garden, helping to avoid high public parking fees and the risk of fines for illegal parking. At Il Borghetto e la Casina, we are committed to environmental sustainability by reducing waste and limiting the use of chemicals, all while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene. We repair bed linens and towels rather than discarding them. For our garden and mosquito control, we use organic products based on essential oils: although less effective, they allow us to enjoy the presence of all the other animals that inhabit the countryside (including ants, unfortunately). The rooms and bathrooms are equipped with screens to ensure peaceful nights. Please note that not all rooms come with air conditioning, TV, or kitchen facilities; if these amenities are essential, it is advisable to check their availability when making a reservation. Well-behaved pets are welcome, but we ask that you consider that, in general, it is not allowed to leave them unattended in the room. Our Borghetto is home to two cats and two dogs, which is an important detail for those with allergies.
