Il Borghetto e la Casina is a charming building located just a short walk from the historic center of Florence. In our garden, you can enjoy a countryside atmosphere with public transport, shops, and cozy cafés, pizzerias, and restaurants (typical but also ethnic) all around. Our place is the perfect choice for those needing to spend time at the nearby many hospitals, such as Careggi, CTO, Meyer, Villa Ulivella, Glicini... We provide a relaxing environment designed to ease the stress of medical visits. Tourists and business travelers can also take advantage of our strategic location, as parking is available in the garden, helping to avoid public parking fees and the risk of fines for illegal parking. Please note that parking is not included in the room price. At Il Borghetto e la Casina, we are committed to environmental sustainability by reducing waste and limiting the use of chemicals, but still keeping cleanliness and hygiene in mind. For the maintenance of our garden we use organic products based on essential oils: although less effective, they allow us to enjoy the presence of the wild little animals that inhabit the countryside (fireflies, hedghogs, bats, butterflies; and ants!). The rooms and bathrooms are equipped with mosquito nets to ensure (relatively) peaceful nights. Please note that not all rooms come with air conditioning, TV, or kitchen facilities; if these amenities are essential, it is advisable to check their availability before making a reservation. Well-behaved pets are welcome, but please don't leave them here unattended. Our place is home to two cats and two dogs, which is an important detail for those with allergies.
